Day 6, Day 7 and a little gift

Nope didn't miss a day of picture taking, just a day of blogging. I took yesterdays picture late last night and I still had to post to my other blog, so today you get two pictures. This one is just me playing around with the different settings on my camera and well I liked the way it turned out.

This next one is just so special to well my stomach. You'd be surprised that one of my resolutions is to lose weight. but today we shipped out everything from the stand I worked at during Christmas. It was so nice to see it go away :) But as a treat, DH and I stopped at Olive Garden, and I got their yummy Black Tie Mousse cake to go

It was so good too, the last time I had a piece of this cake was five years ago, so now I'm good for another five. And now a little gift from me

Day 5 She's back to school

OK I'll say it, I really thing that kids get more time off from school these days then I did. But I know most people say this about the kids "today" compared to them. Anyway, DD did go back to school today after her week and a half Christmas break. And I took this picture of her on her way to the bus.I am actually surprised I was able to get a good picture of her. She has now decided to just smile in a picture is out of the question. However any other facial expression is fine. I have to remind her these pictures WILL be scrapped and posted online and, there is a slight chance one of her friends just might happen to see them. Today it did the trick and she smiled, I took the picture and she was off. Until tomorrow :)

Day 4 My Games

Today was my last "official" day at the game stand I worked at over Christmas. And I finally bought home the games I have had my eye on these past few weeks.

Dirty Minds, Apples to Apples, Pass the Pigs, Hit the Deck, Phase 10, and IQ challenge. I can't wait to get a chance to play these games!! Well until next time :)

Day 3

Let's start with a story today shall we? I have 2 children and my DS is the younger of the 2 he is 4 soon to be 5 and he is well kind of a bully to his 8 yo sister. She is afraid of hurting him and won't hit back, she feels bad when he gets yelled at and coddles him, and so he won't get in trouble she does things for him. Don't ask me why she does because I can't seem to get it. But lately he has been breaking or ruining things that belong to her. So I made a deal with him this morning, every time he broke something of hers, I would take one of his toys. He told me he didn't want me to take any of his toys. So I told he not to break anything of hers. He agreed and everything was fine...that was until she was reading her book. He wanted her to read a page she had finished. She told him she read that page already and flipped to the next, well he didn't like that and turned the page back and insisted she read the page he wanted her to. She didn't give in and turned the page back again and held it down. He yelled moved her hand and went to turn the page and instead ripped it. Well as soon as I heard it rip I told him to get me one of his toys. He refused, so I got up and took one of his toy trains(not the new one). This started the tantrum of all tantrums which I was happy to ignore, but not before I snapped today's picture :) So here you have it

Day 2

So right now as I write it is snowing here, we probably won't get much, but I love snow and I'll take it! Because it is snowing I grabbed my camera and just started clicking away and this one here is my favorite. small side note this little pumpkin is sitting on top of a hay bail. We had the hay bail with our fall decorations and after the first heavy rain grass started to grow out of it. I just loved the way the pumpkin caught the first snow of the new year. So there you have it my day two picture. Until next time :)

My First Picture for the New Year

OK first let me start off by saying Happy New Year!!! 2009 I can't believe it is here. Second I'm off to a goo start, I've taken my first picture for project 365 and here it is

This is James, we bought James today when we went to Toys R Us. He needed a good home and the Christmas money in my son's wallet was burning a hole in his pocket. So James now has a nice home with us. Oh a might I add James makes noise. Oh yes push a button and he toots. Such fun!
